Good video, Steve Bunce has always had a soft spot for Hopkins but I don't think he allowed that to affect his assessment in this instance.

i'm curious what people in the UK's perception of richie woodhall's commentary is, generally speaking... is he well-liked? respected?

i've only heard a few things from him but he strikes me as a total dick... he also predicted woods would crush tarver

He's actually one of the better ones, which perhaps tells its own story...

He's usually pretty good, and gives some decent insight from somebody thats actually boxed. His scoring is a bit funky at times

Yeah his scoring can be a bit off but I do like his commentary, I certainly prefer it to Duke McKenzie.

wassup mate have a cold guiness for me tonight if you can the wifes got me babysitting our kids and then i need to wait up into early hours for the big fight on setanta, what time roughly will the big 1 start around 430 am thats what it usually is ,the hatton mayweather fight started at 510am!as las vegas is 8 hours behind the uk so if the fight starts in vegas at 10pm its 6am over here! ****ing annoying!

at least i get setanta for free i dont know why i dont pay for the big fights?

my wife just said we get it for free because we have the most expensive virgin media account.

for the internet and cable tv .

i agree jim watt talks sense is never biased in anyway and darke and him interchange with each other in a way thats pleasing to the ear.

some commentators are so bad i turn the volume down to zero.

i remember 1980 being 4 or 5 years old on my dads shoulders at ibrox park watching jim watt fight the american olympian howard davis in front of about 40,000 fans.from that moment on i knew what i wanted to be,i clearly remember at the end of the 15th round both men hugged for what seemed like ages both had so much respect for 1 another jim watt was a gentleman in and out the ring and my dad being a scot and my mum english i had a good childhood even though they divorced when i was a baby.
