On behalf of everyone in Manchester and the UK I offer my sincerest congratualtions to Floyd Mayweather junior. Love him or hate him for his flashy persona out of the ring, all must bow to his skill skills in the ring. He put on a career-defining performance, I honestly think this will go down on floyd's legacy as his best win. People of britain, I know it hurts to see someone we love so much get knocked out, but there is no need for excuses or to be ashamed of Hatton's performance. He made Mayweather fight the fight of his life. So swallow your pride and give Mayweather his due. I dont wanna hear **** about the referee, or about Floyd's tactics. Floyd dug deep and fought like a man, he didnt run and he matched Hatton on the inside. He won fair and square. Anyone who knows boxing know that Hatton is tough, determined and fights with heart. After this fight even though he lost no-one can take that away from him. Even Floyd very graciously accepted this in the post-fight interview. There is no need for excuses here, just respect.
