Well Heydrich is such a fascinating character. I'd argue that of all the major Nazis possibly the most fascinating. The surrounding story is a beauty as well. I've been to the Cyril Cathedral in Prague where they cornered his assassins and it is a hell of a place, very affecting, those two are honoured still today by Czech children (the others who died there too, but mainly Gabcik and Kubris which I think is fair).

    Anyone read this?

    Is magic.

I remember they once had a guy who chose the HW division as his specialist subject. I did rather well, as I think most here would if not ace it.

I've seen that in the book shop. Looks intriguing, lots of great reviews.
Will get round to reading it. :good

My personal "Nazi of interest" would be Bormann.
A truly Machiavellian character. A guy that even the other top Nazis considered a brute and a sh!t.
(And then of course the decades of speculation over his possible survival.)

I don't know anything about Borman that isn't on Wiki. Because these guys all had their own wee kingdoms there's not always a lot of cross-contamination in their stories.

Goering is the one that has interested me the most, perhaps because he was the most human.

Who was the amateur boxer that helped his early career? I can't remember his name and had never heard of him .
Johnson was admitted to hospital with a rare complaint. "jaundiced ribs," he was also dead.

That guy also apoeared on Bunce's show, wrote a book, wrote for a magazine I used to write for, and got slaughtered in one of Stewart Lee's standup sets.

    Quite a life.
