Ulabuwimo, Price, Fury

Larry is a beast physcially but in reality limted and just a body builder and Peret was able to soak up his punches and out work him. I like the guy he trying to change his life from the troubles he had but he just doesn't have the skills to make it at domestic level for me. If he ever met Fury he would get blown away to be honest. Fury's a good prospect i'm a real fan of him i like his attitude and also he's want to improve and also he a good fighter he has good punch variation but must improve defence as he does a few things that make me cringe but for a lad at age of 20 to be 6-0 already big props to the lad.

As for Price he has a decent skill set but i would say Fury will go further for me maybe others will disagree i just feel Price lacks the skillset and also the chins a issue but he does have a dig and them two dislike each other big time so it be a great match up late next year.

 

I was at Larry's last fight. He seemed to have ran out of gas by the 4th round, was not catching Peret that much at all and he got outboxed. Hope he comes back though and works on this.

 

yeah olubamiwo actually improved alot especially with his shoulder roll...just hasnt got a boxers physicality. clearly was tired when he is swining. but he has been improving. i just dont think he will improve enough

 

I just don't get this tyson fury hype...Sure he is very big and can bang a bit but when he steps up to euro level I feel he will be way out of his depth and will lose easily.

 

Fury has been fighting pro for less than one year. He is doing much better than expected for such a shot period of time and he is staying very active.

 

Larry is just not built for boxing and all that muscle will mean that he'll be a reasonable 4 round fighter but any longer than 6 he's going to be blowing out his arse.

He'll probably be able to knock out some fairly average opposition and seems very willing to learn as I don't think he has much, if any amateur experience and is in his late 30s I think.

Fury clearly a way ahead in terms of development at this stage of both in skills and being known to the public. Price could catch him but haven't seen enough to form much of an opinion on him.

 

larry done a 10 streach for a blag....dont think he will amount to much though....4 round fighter at most ...those massive arms will start locking after a couple of rounds...tyson fury is a breath of freash air can see this kid doing well great attitude.

 

OK, lets take this argument right back to it's roots. I need to know where the doubters are coming from with Fury.

1. What isn't he doing that he should be and what has he done that he shouldn't have?

2. What fundamental flaws do you see that can't be fixed and will stop him progressing beyond domestic level?

3. Who on the European scene will expose him?

 

Larry is a humble guy, he always knew that he wasn't special, is KO of Skiewinski(sp?) was totally brutal and if he builds on his stamina he could rebuild himself.

 

He fights on 4 July in Liverpool. Undercard to Quigley v Magee

 

I was going to post the exact same thing to this guy, just another quote with nothing to back it up.

It's funny how guys can tell that he will be exposed just a year into his career, his body hasn't even fully developed yet.

 

nah, there's never anything to back it up when pressed. They're just barstool bluffers.

What I really don't get is the Deontay Wilder fixation some folks have. They both have amateur pedigree and Fury had by far the better start to his pro career in terms of the level of opponent. Yet all these folks magically know that should the two meet Wilder will 'KTFO' him.

It's weird. It's like they think a fighter should fight in secret for his first 20 fights to avoid his name being mentioned on the tele and getting any exposure, then emerge as a seasoned pro and finished article.

 

tyson fury is awsome....and david price has the makings of a champ....i just want to see these guys against quality opponents......no guys with 9-17 records.
