Commentators complaining - through peals of laughter - that they're spamming hooks. They want to see more "upper-pillows".

Honestly, for...what this is, the skill level's shockingly high. They're actually employing boxing footwork. They're feinting and throwing three-pieces. How is this real life?

 

Torres took the third. Pummeled the blue corner cutie with overhands, ate some body pillows in return and then hit a spinning backfis- er, backpillow flush on the kisser to seal it.

I think I just became addicted to pretty girls pillow fighting in boxing rings.

 

Declared a draw. Commentators say "we the spectators won". Earlier one talked about how he's undefeated versus females in pillow fights and it always ends in a finish. I think they might be drunk.

 

Next is a pro MMA match before boxing resumes.

 

Uladislau Panin vs. José Salvador Briseño Esqueda, 8 rounds @ welterweight

 

10-9 Panin, throwing jabs on the chest and hooks at the head. Blistering fast combos by Panin, getting into a groove. Briseño defending well, using a modified shoulder roll and countering semi-effectively.

Very cagey third...Panin, just.

 

40-36 Vlad Panin, good fight.

 

Briseño boxing decently but needs a KO. Panin busier and sharper, with slightly better defense.

 

Panin answers the bell in a trot out to ring center, meeting his opponent. They flurry both ways. Panin blocks a jab and drops a HUGE hammering right hand bang on the cheek between Briseño's ear and chin. Big knockdown, from which Briseño rises and tries to recover dancing his way into a corner - but the ref waves it off.

Very good performance by "Super Bad Vlad" Panin, now 21-1 (13). Composed, surgical, efficient.

José Salvador "Chavita Bufon" Briseño - falling to 18-10-1 (11) - doesn't have the prettiest record but he can clearly handle himself in the ring. Pretty much all of his blemishes came against prospects, and he does have a couple of upsets to his credit.

Pitching a shutout and then 1-punch kayoing him is a respectable result.

 

Jordan Henry Panthen vs. Sergio Nahuel López, 8 rounds @ middleweight

 

Jordan "The Patriot" Panthen (all-American blonde boy with red white 'n' blue trunks) is 9-0 with eight victories via KO. The only opponent to go the distance with him was tough Las Vegas journeyman deluxe Cameron "Suave" Krael.

Sergio Nahuel "Checho" López is, like Briseño in the co-main event, a little better than his record suggests. He cut his teeth on the Argentine domestic scene with mixed results. Glass cannon, 14-6, ten wins and all of the losses by KO.
