    Hi all,

Just was trying to find anymore information on this Ulnar Nerve Lesion surgery. I got this injury through heavy bag work and it's just causing too much pain to even punch with let alone dealing with the numbness in the pinky and ring finger constantly.

My question is has anyone here had this surgery and what has the recovery time been like and have you been able to resume full boxing training after recovery?

    Thanks in advance, Jay.

Question. Did you power through your previous injuries or let it heal completely before hitting the bag again?

I haven't had this one. But I did have surgery to alleviate pressure on my median nerve in both hands from having carpel tunnel syndrome. Not going to lie, this was 6 months ago and recovery is ongoing. That might be because of my trouble area is different, the relative severity of my condition, and my age. Inherently, hand and wrist injuries are going to be very bad for boxing training prospects. I no longer have the tingling, numbness, and pain I once endured daily for years. But grip strength has not yet fully returned, and I feel like I'm not making my best fist when the hand is gloved. Good luck, and take care of yourself.
