Rich Attonito round 2 via T/KO Spencer Fisher UD Aaron Simpson UD Matt Hamill UD Court McGee round 3 via sub, RNC Interesting notes goes to Rich Attonito against Yager. We saw that Rich can bang and was pounding on Uscola. So we know Rich is a hitter and Yager quits when he gets rocked. I see Yager either catching Rich early or getting rocked hard to the point of T/KO or submission. I think this will be the best fight on the card. I see McGee beating McCray. McCray seems to gas horribly as the fight goes on, and it is interesting to see how much McGee progressed throughout the show. That being said it was also interesting to see how decent coaching helped out McCray. Overall it will probably be a boring card, but a free one.
The muslim terrorist guy looked better in the early fights in my view. Hope the def guy gets battered he irritates me.
That cort guy is cool. Alwys liked him but like him more now. Jardine got ****ed. Why did that ref HAVE to take a point away over an obvious accidental eye poke? Bottom line the judging would have been a draw at least. :-(
Herb Dean kept saying he had to, so I guess it's now a rule maybe? Entertaining fight either way. What's the deal with Hammill though? Since the moment this guy stepped foot in TUF house a few years ago, he's been hyped as this wrestling powerhouse, and yet all he does is his spastic looking standup.
i think he had trouble with takedows in part cuz jardine i think is naturally a little bigger and stronger and jardine took some out of him with the kicks. thought hammil's standup was pretty effective at times and he shoulda got the decision even w/o the point deduction. jardine was avoiding for much of rounds 2 and 3 and tho round 3 was close and both guys were tired (and jardine was hurt) i think hammil did enough there too
He had to because it was such a damaging foul. Hamill was bleeding in his eye because of it.... came at quite a suspect time too as Jardine was hurt and in trouble. Let alone the fact that he could have taken a point from Jardine for purposely spitting out his mouthpiece as well. Hell, Hamill is already deaf and had to fight half blind as well. Even without the point... I think it was obvious that Hamill clearly won the fight. Jardine was a busted mess, looked like he was about to be stopped on several occasions, and IMO only won the first round anyways.
In the previous fight, do you take a point away because the accidental headbutt split his head open? Hammil sounded like he was about to die in his interview. There was no justification for taking a point away from jardine and jardine only lost his mouthpiece was because he was tired and blowing hard,
