the wrestling stuff is boring slugger....lets be honest

 

the ufc is definetly not near as exciting as it was back in the mid 00's

each weight division has about 4 guys that are truly brilliant fighters. The rest of them are mediocre, have crap stamina, and simply make up the numbers.

with each passing even i find myself fast forwarding through it, more and more

MMA will never be a mainstream sport, it will only ever be a novelty, or niche sport. Thats a cold hard fact

 

I genuinely hate Clay Guida.

 

Same as. Should've stayed at 155 and fought TJ Grant.

 

And most of the striking aside from the wrestling is........err........well........

 

Obvs it's boring if someone is content to sit in guard but hey the guy in bottom shouldn't be on his back. I do think work on bottom should be weighed more though, but if you allow yourself to be taken down consistently you can't expect a win.

 

That is one aspect of MMA.. Take GSP for example, His ground game is sick and he uses it to perfection.... But GSP also has good stand-up, the guy could box pretty damn good. He's just an all around complete fighter. The same with Cain and other wrestlers... Im tired of dumb ****s like the OP trying to put down MMA fighters just because he knows boxing alone is inferior in a real fight! It gets old rather fast!

 

wrestling is fine but they need to be stricter about laying / praying which a lot of guys do (Cough gsp).
