    Round 1

Kudryashov is jabbing stiffly high up into the brow, and Barragán is picking him off and countering with either hand. Barragán reaching in to shut down Kudryashov's engine before the gears can start to grind again, careful to be first and then get outside again. Barragán is using minimal footwork, just enough to consistently turn Kudryashov by shuffling his lead toe in between his legs from a side angle, then letting his upper body elasticity bring him inside to score and back out to safety. Kudryashov is thumping heavy but slow jabs into the guard from mid-long range. Barragán staves off a charging attempt by Kudryashov to press in close and land an uppercut, with Barragán crossing his forearms protectively to stuff the uppercut and then and shoving Kudryashov off. Barragán now using more lateral movement, staying away from the corners as Kudryashov throws line drives from a crouch from too far out.

    10-9 Barragán

    Round 2

Barragán is dropping into a partial squat, facing Kudryashov side-on, and whipping right hands at him after dodging his pecking jabs & 1-2s. Kudryashov seems tentative about getting inside, although Barragán isn't sitting down too much on his counters. Barragán is using front leg feints to psyche Kudryashov out, stomping the ball of his left foot on the ground inches away from the Russians and freezing him in place, buying time for Barragán to circle out to his flank and snipe with jabs downstairs. Kudryashov is rolling fist over fist as he approaches on slightly bent knees, stalking - and Barragán zaps him with a quick hook that appears to momentarily stun Kudryashov. Barragán is dodging wildly swung front-foot hooks and back-stepping away from body jab attempts by Kudryashov (raising his right arm over his temple just in case anything wild does get through), all while landing ripostes fluidly with the left and moving clockwise.

    10-9 Barragán

    20-18 Barragán

    Round 3

Barragán is ducking & rising in place as Kudryashov menaces and holds out his left arm, miming some jabs and pawing at the air. Barragán isn't reacting to any of Kudryashov's mind game tactics, and is calmly stepping in to score a quick jab and then scooting out and resuming lateral movement well outside Kudryashov's reach. Kudryashov now tries some parabolic crouches as he lurches inside, bobbing and weaving to set himself up for a big shot. Barragán is taming him with every step, landing the jab regularly and never letting Kudryashov get comfortably into the strike zone. Jab, chopping right and left hand from Barragán as Kudryashov puts his entire head down and tries ill-advisedly bulling his way in to skewer Barragán on the ropes. Barragán is sliding his left foot's big toe out so that it nestles against Kudryashov's again, pushing against it so that Kudryashov hesitates to pick it up lest he trip. Really savvy kid, this Uruguayan.

    10-9 Barragán

    30-27 Barragán

    Round 4

Barragán is easily picking off Kudryashov's right hand leads with either his knuckle pads or the uplifted back of his left arm while coasting around the ring on the backfoot, and snaps Kudryashov's head back multiple times with sharp counter jabs. Kudryashov is hacking in with the jab now, using it more like a cudgel and is clipped with a short counter left hook now as he does so. Barragán is gathering himself from the chest up into a deep backward lean, chin down, as Kudryashov probes in with a high jab, not letting him land it, but lingering just long enough that Kudryashov thinks he can so that he gives Barragán ample countering opportunities. Clinch just before the bell.

    10-9 Barragán

    40-36 Barragán

    Round 5

Kudryashov is rushing in now, slamming the right hand into Barragán's guard and sending him colliding with the ropes. Kudryashov now picking up his intensity and taking quicker strides with more surety, and taking more careful aim with his power-jab, using it to set up some right hand bombs (that often drive through even when blocked and land, illegally albeit effectively, as elbows). Barragán is respectfully clearing a path for him, keeping his distance for a full 90 seconds barely throwing any counters before diving in to clinch. They separate and Kudryashov pressures without needing to fire a punch until a panicked Barragán lashes with a right hand up top harmlessly awash on Kudryashov's left shoulder as they crash into another clinch. Kudryashov now forcing exchanges and Barragán flurrying just enough to scramble away. Barragán carrying his left hand dangerously low on his lead hip now, barely scuffing his feet away in time when Kudryashov makes a run at him - I think Barragán is tiring.

    10-9 Kudryashov

    49-46 Barragán

    Round 6

Barragán is trying to reestablish dominance, jumping in on Kudryashov with combinations. Barragán busily throwing both hands until he wearies and needs to circle outside for a break, not wanting to give Kudryashov any chances to catch him with his guard lowered. Kudryashov is stalking and jabbing the body, and flipping his elbows in like chicken wings to catch Barragán's desperate straight right leads tossed like darts on the backfoot, not only deflecting them away but creating a lane for Kudryashov. Barragán is ambling to his left, tries clobbering up top with a right hand that seems more a thinly veiled guise for clinching, and is caught on the way in by a hybrid left jab/hook Kudryashov throws with a rather abrupt leap up off his feet. Barragán is downed to a knee, up but looking dispirited with a minute left. Kudryashov jabs the body and starts pumping shots at the face - none of which even appear to land although Barragán has clearly had enough. He goes to a knee and shakes his head and hands to indicate "no mas".

    KO6!!

Russian speakers - what did Kudryashov say during his 90 second victory speech in the ring? (before the cringe part at the end where he's sucking up to Kadyrov and presenting him with VsenaBox merch?)

"Sorry to my fans for sucking donkey balls tonight and only winning because the other guy got tired and was scared of my power/rep"?
"I owe you a rematch, Barragán, if you survive this crazy week of yours..."?
"Boxing's been fun, but I'm taking my talents to Stamford (to revive the Bludgeon Bros and become tag champ within a month!)"?

    Huh, thanks...

"Patriot" is the nickname of Abuzayed Vismuradov, who runs the Akhmat MMA camp and is also head of Kadyrov's personal secret service (and purported to be basically his Luca Brasi)

According to this thread, it won’t be happening but we’ll just have to wait for those weigh-ins today and see since there isn’t any official word. Logistically it’s pretty much almost impossible considering he has to weigh in today. He probably had to fly from Grozny to Moscow, then Moscow to somewhere else potentially, then probably Toronto then travel to Edmonton lol.

Regardless, the entire situation has made me want to follow that Canadian card much more closely than I would have lol
