Calzaghe vs Lacy was the shutout of shutouts..there's NO WAY that Lacy won even a part of a round.

 

Larry Holmes - Earnie Shavers 1 was a shutout,I think.

 

I personally felt Duran vs Hagler was somewhat of a shutout. Duran shutting Hagler out. He just seemed to land the cleaner punches overall and edged every round(although they were close rounds, i wouldnt argue with someone who scored a few in Hagler's favour). Hagler put up a brave effort against MW H2H beast el taco.

Just goes to show what a blown up LW, past his prime, that trained and doesnt need a poo, was capable of without being hindered by cramps. Amazing really.

 

Jermain Taylor-William Joppy was 120-107 x3 as I recall.


Pacquiao-Clottey was a shut-out. I can't see how anyone could give Clottey a round, though two judges did (3 scorecards being 120-108, 119-109, 119-109).

 

Duran vs Hearns Rd 1

Okay not a full fight, but the most dominated, lopsided round i've ever seen. I may get slated for this by some casuals or general forum posters, but its my personal criteria on scoring rounds. You cant just be a casual and watch the fight to score this one, you have to know stuff

10 point must system -
Duran past prime +1
Duran had cramp +1
Duran needed a poo +1
Duran didnt train +1
Duran blown up LW +1
Duran was green at 154lbs +1
Cleaner punches also won him the round -1(Hearns)

Decision - 16-9 for Duran.

Although not technically a full 12 round/15 rd shutout, i feel it deserves a mention as he managed to accomplished this in a single round. Whereas other shutouts it would've taken7 rounds to rack up this score, maybe soonr with a few knockdowns but still not quicker than 3 minutes

Indeed, it needed to escaped so badly. It was touching cloth. However, the iron chin and iron will of el cholo would not allow it's release. Finally in round 2, after a sickening body shot it was forced half way out of the anus, only for Duran to have that **** pushed (back) up moments later courtesy of Hearns deadly right hand

Alot of Jones fights at 175 were shut outs. McCallum . Reggie Johnson and a few others

 

David Telesco was a shut out I think!

 

Although I was under the impression Mancini-Ramirez was a shutout, I haven't found the official scoring. (That was a 12 rounder, so we're looking for three cards of 120-108.)

Watching Holmes-Cobb, I still don't understand where Chuck Hassett's 149-136 came from, unless it was as a hometown concession to Tex. Still, two matching cards of 150-135 in favor of Holmes is staggering in Houston.

Incredibly, Virgil Hill did this only twice over the 12 round distance in North Dakota. Tyrone Frazier lost by three identical cards of 120-108, but he was also decked in round two, which suggests at least a 10-8 round. We'd need a round by round breakdown to verify Frazier indeed lost all 12.

Hill also pitched a late career shut out of Joey DeGrandis, by scores of 120-108, 120-108 and 120-106, and issboxWRECK makes no mention of DeGrandis getting floored here.
