Lets hear of fighters who got put down by murderous shots and amazingly recovered from them. My pick is larry holmes against earnie shavers, that right hand would have put the lights out of a city! How larry got up and recovered ill never know

Foreman against Ron Lyle. Foreman looked finished from a heavy shot in the 2nd or 3rd but somehow got up to win

The one that can't be beat,,,,,,,,,

Soo-Hwan Hong 'floored' 4-times in the 2nd Round, comes back to knockout
Panamanian 17 1/2 year-old 'knockout-sensation' Hector Carrasquilla in the next round.

It was for the 'new' WBA Super-Bantamweight Championship on November 26, 1977

As the old cliche goes, as the fight reaches the end, the punches don't hurt as much as they did earlier. The Joe shot against Ali doesn't qualify.
