Unbelievable: Watch this Video from a fight in Nicaragua

    Watch this unbelievable decision in a fight that took place last week in Nicaragua.

    A Canadian, Ibrahim Kamal vs a Nicaraguan boxer, Elvis Ramirez.

    What appeared to be a clean knockout victory for Kamal was soon turned to a victory for Ramirez when he raised the hand of the Nicaraguan boxer. Nobody knows why...

    The decision was eventually changed to a 'No Contest', but the question is WHY?

    It should have been a clear cut 2nd round KO for KAMAL. Can anyone that understands spanish understand what happened here and why the Nicaraguan boxers hand was raised?

    Seems like a very corrupt boxing commission!

    it says he was disqualified for using prohibited substances, but its not clear what that was. ? something he consumed between rounds, in the bottle of water.

    HAHAHA...wow too funny! They could say anything! I guess that he would have been screwed fighting down there no matter what! If it went to the score cards, he would have lost.....HAHAHA...too funny! Never heard of that one!

    Never heard of a KO being judged a win for the other guy before :think.

    Nicaragua breaking new ground for boxing!

    maybe there was a substance. A worse one is one of Barrera's early fights: the bell rings, the short guy who was frustrating Marco turns around, and Marco punches him in the brainstem and knocks him out WAY after the bell, when his back was completely turned going to his stool.

    They rule it a KO victory for Barrera. It was like 6 seconds after the bell.

    Another one is an early JMM fight - the opponent is leading on all the score cards, and the ref is frustrated with the opponent for grabbing, so he waves it off with like 20 seconds in the last round with no warnings, giving JMM the victory despite the official score (to be fair, I disagreed with the official scoring, and felt JMM was winning easy, the other guy was running and holding too much to be ahead)

    People often forget Barrera is/was a dirty mother****er, like real dirty **** not the Hopkins style dirty.
