i like both fighters but wouldn't really consider myself a big fan of each, it think it's about time they move on and let someone else take over, all this drama over the years hasn't been good for the sport and i feel that the fight would have been way most significant 5 years ago when they were at their peak

at this point in time i consider pacman higher in terms of atg legacy but there's very little in it tbh and it's very debatable

whoever wins this fight though will decide who ranks greater when it's all said and done as i do consider it a 50-50 fight and believe that they are both the best fighters eachother has faced so far

I think Mayweather has his hands full as Pacman is the fastest fighter he has faced since Judah and is a southpaw that throw combinations from weird angles, plenty of stuff there to cause mayweather lots of problems

i also believe Mayweather presents big problems for pacman too with his ring intelligence speed, great defense and accurate punching and ability to tie up

i feel that the winner of this fight will be the fighter who can elevate his game to a higher level and make the adjustments needed through out the fight. As i said it's a 50 -50 fight but if i was betting id say Mayweather by close decision

stuff that i still believe could tip the balance in Mayweathers favour are:

1.ring size(should be 18x18 or 20x20, any bigger and Mayweather has the advantage, any smaller and pacman has the advantage)

    2. gloves, if softer gloves are forced on pacman, mayweather has the advantage

    3. referee, needs to be a guy that will let them fight eg Smoger, weeks. If bayless or a guy who will favour floyd is the referee it's big advantage mayweather

that's my 2 cents, 50-50 fight, whoever wins will get a huge boost in legacy and hopefully after it's over we will see a wind down in both of there careers and let the likes of Kovalev,GGG, M Garcia ect take a bigger stage:good

Hey The General, I thought they already agreed on letting Pac use the gloves he wants. Was I mistaken? Also, when will they find out about ring size and ref?

your more than likely right i don't follow the circus too closely

ring size will have an impact on the fight but the referee is the big one for me

I believe I read pac gets to use reyes and may will use grant. Agreed that if they use bayless may gets a big advantage. I wouldnt be surprised if its a large ring.

18x18 or 20x20, standard normal size, anything like 24x24(in the 2nd maidana fight and the fight loses credibility IMO

if Tyson was aloud face everyone in a 16x16 ring he would have never lost

I think the fight will be close and it will come down to the judges style preferences. May will land the cleaner more effective punches but pac will be much more active and aggressive.

Great post, hard to disagree with anything you said.

The judges will be a big part of it too. A judge that scores on activity is better for Paq, but some will judge on May's cleaner punches even though his punch output will be far less imo

Its possible the fight will be one sided, if it is, I think it will be in Floyds favor but I doubt it will be severely onesided, anyone who thinks that overestimates Floyd or underestimates Manny, probably both. Those two are future HOF for a reason. I think the winner will be the one who makes the other fight their game. If Manny can find a way to make Floyd engage more than he usual does, he'll have the edge. No way Manny will win if he's forced to outbox Floyd. If it goes to the scorecards I think the decision will favor Floyd, unless Manny can knock Floyd down once, maybe twice.

Don't hink the ring size matters much as both guys like to move, a smaller ring might actually favor Mayweather if you're refering to in-fighting, gloves have already been determined and based on both fighters styles you could have anyone from Bayless to Smoger to Cortez(although retired), my point is both guys like to operated in space, and I don't see much clinching in this fight.
