Unbiased, if Loma/Rigo was happening at 130 on 8/5 who would you choose, and why?

With all their recent twitter'ing, and apparently coming to an 'understanding', who would you pick if Rigo fought Loma on 8/5 at 130, instead of Loma/Marriaga, and why?

Please no troll post's, I'd like intelligent debate on this one.

Hard to say honestly. Both guys will be mobile for the entire fight and Rigo won't engage Loma ,so he will have to be the aggressor against the ultimate counter puncher.
Loma is Swift enough not be hit with those jaw breakers that Rigo throws but is he experienced enough?
    50/50 fight.
Even my most bias flaws won't let me pick a winner.

This is a fight of incredible contrast!

On one side, we have the elusive Cuban who has deft footwork, redefines the passive style, and might be one of the ugliest athletes in the history of professional sports.

On the other side, we have the elusive Ukrainian who has def footwork, redefines the all action style, and is Top 10 one of the hottest athletes in the history of professional sports (scope out that perfectly tan skin, gorgeous smile, and smoldering cerulean peepers of which provided the inspiration for DZ's Magnum).

Beautiful Aggression over Hideous Passive. Loma by KO.

I agree that its a 50/50 fight. I don't agree that Rigo won't engage Loma though. Rigo's last 2 fights have lasted three rounds lol. I think Loma will certainly be surprised at how good Rigo is, if they ever do end up fighting. They're about equal in skills, although I think Rigo has better footwork, and more accurate punches......Loma has more power and definitely has the age advantage.

You need great defense, exemplary footwork and unpredictable awkward angles to get in close land on and KO Rigo, lucky for Loma he has those attributes. Being a fellow southpaw, negating one of Rigo's biggest strengths doesn't hurt either.

    Lomachenko.

Both are supreme technically, but Loma is bigger and younger.

I think Loma will respect Rigo's handspeed and footspeed+power too much to do something ridiculous like go for the KO. If it comes, it will come naturally. When Rigo got KD'd twice in Japan, the guy was just fighting back, not going for the KO. But I agree, if anyone has the tools to beat Rigo, it's Loma.

I wasn't saying Loma would go for the KO, I think it would happen naturally, Rigo's chin is that bad, that if any fighter lands on it on a regular basis, especially a much bigger one, it will come.

Loma KO at 130, it'll be a brilliant fight at 126 though. It would be a real legacy fight to me at 126. The weight cut would allow Rigo to be more competitive. He probably walks around at around 128lbs. At 126, it's a true blockbuster.

Well I guest people put the skills in display of both guys even mentioning the best good looking of the two but is a missing link here the equalizer is the power Rigo carries dynamite. I like the fight but not at 130 I hate to see Rigo fighting a 140 pounder.

Lomachenko is younger, taller, fresher, more skilled, and prime. Pacquiao is older, smaller, and all but completely shot. Pacquiao will be 147-149 on fight night of he weighs in at 146-147. Pacquiao will be 143-145 of the fight is at 140. Salido was 148.
