Anyone else find it funny that the judge who scored it 116-112 for Pacquiao gave the last round for Marquez

By round 10 I have Pac definitely losing this fight by at least 1 round. Even watching this in slow motion, rewind, slo-mo some more, rewind, pause, its still very hard to score and pick off the shots. Hence why the judges scorecards are all over the place.

BTW does anyone have the official compubox numbers? Wanna see how they match with mine.

Will have to go through round 8 though, some people saying it was close, if I recall it was one of the clear rounds for JMM.

It's cool of you to go through it in slow-mo.

When you watch the fight frame by frame, in super slo mo, on a 72 inch LCD, 3D tv, with a top level boxing referee and top level boxing judge, like I did, then you come back to me with your scorecard.

He was probaly trying to give Marquez some points when he realized how much ahead he had PAC.

I don't mind people doing this but...

Don't come and blame the judges if they don't have the same "10 times slow motion watched" card

Perhaps you should start looking at the other 50% of scoring. If it was all about punches we could just put sensors in the body and face. Looking at your posts so far it looks like you aren't paying any attention to effective aggression and ring generalship.

True it does involve effective agression and ring generalship but if that isn't stopping you from getting punched in the face more than you're hitting the opponent, how effective is that? Spinks used ring generalship against Taylor and made Taylor's offensive less effective but it couldn't win him the fight at all.

You're trying to use LOGIC with *******s?

    :lol::lol::lol:

You're more delusional than they are! (but kudos for the analysis.)

    --------------------

Question: How many landed shots did you give each fighter in the 12th round? I ask because that's the one round I personally studied carefully in slo-mo, and saw 3 for Manny (maybe 4) and around 14 for JMM, yet so many people are giving that round to Pac, even some who agree JMM won the fight.

I'm a former amateur boxer (retired 31-2) and I THINK I know how to score a hit. Granted, scoring in the pros is different from the amateurs, but still, a totally-blocked punch and/or one that hits nothing but air, those still don't count, right? I mean .... RIGHT?

I'm having a VERY hard time with this.

I'd love to see how your numbers compare to compbubox.

how far are we anyway before judging a boxing match is all computerized????

it's just getting annoying to hear the whining after a close fight that could have gone either way.
