    Very good video. Excellent points. Can’t really argue. Great fighters in all eras, like you say, the system in place at one time produces a different type of statistic that can only be realistically replicated under the kind of times they happened.

    sometimes I wonder how competitive the matchmaking must be in order for a 30 fight a year schedule…and equally I wonder about manufactured 20-0 records in the 5 title a weight class era today.

    If somebody wins a belt against an 18-0 “champ” in the four belt era it cannot compare to beating a linear, undisputed champ. Because It’s unlikely to be the best guy in the world in that weight class.

    But in the long ago undisputed days a lot of guys were beat up by the time they challenged for a title. How fresh were the challengers those champs were beating?

    different records for different times. Horses for courses. But ultimately still great fighters across all of the eras.
