"I think it’s a situation where Floyd isn’t worried too much about anything. He knows eventually that he is going to have to step up to the plate and make things happen. For the most part he has the intention of having a fight in England. I think he is focusing on that more than Manny Pacquiao. I think he is going to try to make that happen then move on to the Manny Pacquiao fight. I’m not sure who he is fighting but I know that Roger is training him know.”

Arum isnt going to go for this if true. He wants this fight ASAP. He will try to humiliate Money.

I mean he basically staged a whos who of boxing to say that the fight is a done deal to corner floyd.

Well...that better not be true. Passing up on Mayweather vs Pacquiao in May will be like winning a lotto ticket, then tearing it up. Stupid. The things this fight could do for boxing...hardcore, casual, and non-boxing fans are calling for this fight! Why would it not happen? Any date after May, and interest will begin to wane.

I think it's just a smokescreen. There's no way FMJ is going to turn his back on all those millions of dollars he'll make fighting Pac. They call him "Money May" right?

Good move by mayweather. A fight in England will be huge. And to my tastes Floyd is the better boxer that i have seen. But he is human. He took a 2 year lay off and he needs a preparation fight. Paquiao has been busier than him and Floyd take Marquez to the school, but in the first rounds I see some rust in his distance and reflex. After 4 rounds he was again in full swing and you cant take that chances with Paquiao. A preparatory fight before may in england is huge. And if the fight is schedule to september better. Paquiao and Roach has said that manny need rest. Im not here to defend or criticise the boxers. Paquiao need rest and Floyd needs a fight. Paquiao vs mayweather must happen this year. And dont be fooled, it will happen this year. And it will be huge. Good for boxing and good for both. Both fighters need to fight somebody of their own caliber. Sorry for the anti mayweather fans but Cotto and Mosley are not in the same league of Floyd and Paquiao. I see mayweather winning, but who knows anyone can win this fight.

This is PBF's desperate attempt at telling team Pacquiao they have other options other than Pac so they can hold some leverage in negotiations.

If they were really planning a fight in England it would of been talked about before Pac/Cotto and not right after.

that makes sense but in reality it doesn't because Schaefer is doing the negotiating. He's silent as he should be. This article is probably a complete fabrication, just because there are quotation marks in print doesn't mean the **** was said, and even if it was, it's Jeff Mayweather, all to be taken with a grain of salt.

So i don't believe Floyd is trying to tell Arum they have other options. There are no other options and everyone understands that. This whole article is bogus.
