Roger is a good trainer whether or not people dislike him as a person. Often, people cannot separate the two.
There's a good video someone posted awhile back showing some of the subtle changes during PBF-Mosley awhile back...it was really interesting to demonstrate the level of intelligence Floyd has...as well as his corner.
yeah think what ever you want of roger but hes a damn good trainer, i watched videos in the past of him teaching amateurs and lesser known pros and he points out the simple mistakes that most of us easily overlook, he breaks down fights good and always comes up with good gameplans. i remember one fight of floyds possibly mitchell where floyd was goofing around a little and headhunting, roger told him to stick to the body, floyd wasn't listening and roger got angry and started shouting you gotta go to the body thats where he's weak, floyd goes out and knocks mitchell out in the next round.
Sr is more of a defensive trainer & Roger is more offensive. Both great. Floyd went with Roger, because Roger treated him like a man. Sr always treated him like he was a little boy. I would like see Roger train other elite talent besides Floyd, but he actually prefers dealing with younger guys who haven't developed bad habits yet
roger is offense and defense, roger doesn't have a style, like roach he teaches each fighter differently, same with jeff.
quit bein so butt hurt, i hear what u sayin but at the same time, they open it up to themselves so folks can say whatever the f they want, its their bad for setting themselves up like that
