As a Pacquiao fan,I find his reaction to the request for random blood testing "disturbing".I get the feeling, that something is not quite right.

I admire Floyd Mayweather as a boxer but am less impressed by his lack of willingness to face any opponent who poses (in his mind) a genuine threat to his unbeaten record.

I believe that Mayweather was looking for a way out of this fight but in his request for Olympic style testing,a can of worms was well & truly opened.

I genuinely and sincerely cannot take any future ring success of Manny's with an open heart. The shadow of doubt and suspicion will always overshadow any feelings of joy when he beats an opponent.

Also,if Manny is taking PED's,who is administering them?

Is he doing it alone or with assistance?

If he is being assisted, who is assisting him?

Freddie Roach? Alex Ariza? Someone else?

This whole saga leaves a dark & bitter taste in my mouth.

It's a shame that Floyd does'nt have the confidence in himself to face other P4P contenders and it's a shame that Manny does'nt have enough faith in his GOD to take a couple of random blood tests.

    Careers,reputations,legacies forever tarnished from within.

Ask yourself this then my friend. Were "you" before any of this hype
started suspicious of manny being doped up? If your honest answer is no
then you SHOULD enjoy all of his future fights, and remember his past fights and know that he won fair and square.

P.S. If manny was willing, which he was, to take a blood test in the dressing room immediatly after the fight. What more do you want?
Were the peds going to suddenly disappear an hour after the time when they would need to be effective? C'mon guy, use your own mind and don't buy into the bull****. Manny is a great fighter and floyd is a scared fighter.

    It's just that simple!:good

Yes. It's that simple. Floyd rejected Manny's acceptance of blood testing. Nobody's has ever been caught using HGH using the blood testing method in the olympics because it's not a perfected testing method. EPOs also do show up in urine tests even it's for a short time. Pac's willingness to do unlimited urine tests would have been sufficient to tackle that concern.

When Floyd Mayweather Snr accused Manny prior to F.Mayweather jnr and Manny "agreeing" to fight, many people (myself included) thought it was simply another "idiotic" rant and did'nt take it seriously.

However,Manny's reaction to the random testing creates more questions than answers.

My intuition is telling me that things are not as they once appeared to be in relation to Manny.

    Just my perspective ;)

I've already pretty much accepted the fact that a lot of top athletes may be on some form of illegal PEDs, whether it be in boxing, football, baseball, track, etc..Maybe it's a low percentage but if most of the top boxers used PEDs I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

As for Mayweather, well as much as I enjoy watching him perform, he's done **** all since 2007. He deserves the criticism he gets until he steps up the opposition.

To the TS. Think of it from Manny's perspective rather than from a boxing fan's perspective.

Manny's passed 10 previous officially mandated doping tests. Then his opponent asks for a method of testing that has compromised his performance in the past as in the case of his first fight with Morales. His 2005 post fight interview covers all the bases and makes that 24/7 video of him giving blood prior to Hatton irrelevant. Isn't that a valid concern? And the fact that Floyd Sr. asks for the additional tests is insulting enough.

Try this experiment. Go ask your wife, girlfriend, or daughter to take a lie detector test to see how many guys they have had sex with. I guarantee you their reaction to you will be the same regardless of their innocence or guilt. Same way Manny feels I bet.

Also, I've posted several times an article from the Philippines which is representative of how 99% of Filipinos feel about the issue. Had Manny just given in to Floyd's special rules, he'd be seen as weak and unfit to run for office in Philippine politics. What good is $40 million if he had to sell his soul to the devil?

Some clarification first. Are you a girl? Why do you use your intuition when you can use your logical mind. Go and analyze the whole situation and then get back to us.

This is the whole problem for me. That he demands some kind of inviolable time window within which to prepare just screams fishy.

First line is true, everything else is compensation. But PBF is scared and does not want to face (i.e., thinks he may not win and does not want to throw away what he thinks is a storied legacy) what he sincerely believes is a juiced up Pac.

The effects of PEDs often don't show in an athlete's performance until it's been long washed out of his system. A test after the fight would be pointless.

Erik Morales maybe very vulnerable to pure boxers.

A guy like Raheem could very well beat him 9 out of 10 times in Morales prime.

PEDS can be flushed out 5 days before a test which is why mayweather wanted random testing. So yes he could pass a blood test int he changing room because he couoe stop taking the things 8-9 days out, do the flush and be fine..
