Lewis fought guys with lower stock than sanders. The Croatian guy was a nobody. Maskaev ko'd Rahman twice, did a far better job on him than Lewis. In other words, triangle theories mean squat. Phil Jackson got'd ko'd by Razor Ruddick. Got a title shot two years later against Lewis without a good win in between.

Your talking about a few instances though were Lewis took on softer opposition, i mean you could say that about anyone's title reign in history. No one is going to be fighting great fighters in every single title defence. For the most part Lewis fought pretty much most of the top Heavyweights in the 90s.

You've been saying that Lewis ducked Sanders, Byrd, but i already told you Sanders lost to Rahman and was no longer in the top 10. If Lewis would of fought Sanders you'd also be saying he ducked Rahman, if Lewis would of fought Byrd you'd be saying he ducked Tyson.

I think there's difference between Lewis not fighting Byrd, Sanders, and "ducking them" as your claiming.

I never said ducked. The person I quoted said there wasn't anyone worth fighting when Lewis retired. That is blatantly wrong. You are completely misrepresenting what I said.

Bradley retired at the right time. The Provodnikov fight messed him up for months and gave him a wake up call. He made enough money and called it a day.

That's fair enough then i apologize if i misread what you was saying. But Lewis fought Tyson instead of Byrd, and Rahman instead of Sanders who beat Sanders himself. I don't really see an issue with that Lewis was pushing 40 years old, and decided he wanted to call it a day as he'd already cemented his legacy.

Fun fact, I know Jorge Teron and remember when he was getting ready for this fight, didn’t work out very well for him unfortunately…

ROFLMAO Are you serious ?? Lennox took Vitali's face apart when he was only 80% ready. When he saw that Wlad went awol, Byrd ?? would be destroyed like Ike did him, Sanders wasn't interested either LOL. It was obvious they were not giving Ike a chance at freedom EVER!! Lennox did the right thing Retire !!

You mean When Kirk Johnson was robbed by Ruiz & Joe Cortez for the WBA title Ruiz deserved an Oscar for his acting crying foul at every body shot Cortez should have been booted for falling for Ruiz acting. Oh & BTW It was Vitali who was" creaming his jeans " to fight Kirk knowing he was only after a paycheck. That robbery by Cortez took his heart

Lewis was going to fight Johnson had he beat Vitali. Johnson lost, Lewis' mommy said you can't play with Vitali anymore. As i've said repeatedly, you are an absolute clown.

Lewis was 36, not pushing forty. The same people saying Lewis was pushing forty, say Wlad was prime at 39 3/4 when he fought Fury.

Lennox wasn't BUT I wouldn't be surprised if Vitali was. Hadnt he been caught doping as an amateur along with Wlad ???/
