    John Murray has set his sights on new WBA lighweight champion Brandon Rios.

    Murray wants to secure a showdown against the unbeaten 24-year-old as quickly as possible.

    "He's strong, comes forward throwing plenty of bombs and looks to walk you down, so matched against my all-action style it would be one explosive fight.

    "I'm glad he's won the world title because it lines up a cracking fight between me and him down the line."

    I don't think Murray ever makes World level...fairly limited.

    His younger brother looks a lot more classy than him.

    Rios should fight Soto. Rios is ducking Soto. Also Marquez and Pacquiao ducking Soto. Everyone is ducking Soto. Valuev too.

    Murray, at best, would be competitive in the first few rounds. Rios would then take over and stop him in the latter rounds. It's a stupid fight for Murray to take, so don't expect Warren being in a rush to make this.

    It would be a bad business move, for Soto to fight Rios now, cause Soto would have to unleash a ferocious beating on Rios that would have Marquez, Pacman, Morales, Barrera, Guerrero, Bradley, Mosley, Floyd, and anyone else in the 135lbs to 147lbs divison shiitt their pants in fear, and will have them do anything to avoid Soto, after they all see how destructive Soto really is.

    Its best that Soto keep "playing possum" with c-level boxers, so that JMM, Pac, MAB, EM and the rest feel safe in fighting Soto.

    I feel for Rios's life. Soto is a devastating puncher he could do what Donaire did to Montiel. Rios should avoid Soto at all cost to retain his belt... At 130-140 Nothing beats Soto..

    True.

    Soto scared Pacman into vacating his WBC 130lbs Super Featherweight belt, out of fear of defending it against Soto.

    Same thing with Edwin Valero.
    Soto scared Valero into vacating his WBC 135lbs Lighweight belt, out of fear that he had to defend it against Soto.

    Just because Rios had challenged Soto doesnt mean Rios is brave.
    It only showed that Rios is too young to not know the danger he was getting himself in.

    If he doesn't fight him it doesn't mean he is ducking him ffs. ****ing mentality on here is akin to a 10 year olds.

    John Murray has done **** all.

    And for the record, Rios would beat the living shite out of him imo.

    You forgot to mention that no one can hurt Soto, even if he just stands and let Rios hit him freely. I heard that Soto once got bitten by a rattle snake in the Mexican jungle. After three days of pain and suffering.. ...the rattle snake died. :deal

    This guy hasn't hasn't done enough to call out Rios. If Rios took the fight I predict he classes this nobody.

    Murray looks great in England, but he needs to fight someone like an Anthony Peterson, Miguel Acosta, or a Katsidis before he thinks he can take on Rios. Good fighter, just like I thought Mitchell was, then he gets steamrolled by Katsidis. Still need to prove they are world class.
