Lennox didn't have to rematch Vitali because he stopped Vitali. This wasn't a 12 round war. It was an exciting fight for 6 rounds...6 rounds.

A true Champion is one who comes back from a defeat stronger, and shows a heart of a Champion in doing so.

I always saw the first Taylor fight as a razorthin decision, some may argue but I thought the second fight, Taylor won it a little bit more clearly...

"hahahaha, good comeback kid! mazin stuff, what you think larry merchant?" (larry is clearly drunk at this point), "I think that he's tough an as game as they come but he jus dosnt have the skills jim..." So jim perplexed by this choose's to silently ignore this obvious misnomer by resoting to his get out of jail free card.... "Bam, BAM, bam bam bam, how bout some of that, bam bam, want somemore...? bam bam....

"Jim jim, its between rounds, theyre not even fighting...."

    Bam...

He is a Champion and a great fighter, True Champion i dont know, his era didn't have the top fighters around him.

Floyd's been levels above this generation.

So it's his fault ....that he makes the the top fighters in his era look less than avg.

Sven Ottke? The guy that refused to leave Germany and benefited from many shady decisions? I will tell you right now that he wasn't a true champion. He was (and most likely still is) a coward!

He was head and shoulders above the competition and was clearly the best fighter out there - he had no need to carry on thus ending his career undefeated champion. He's a future HOF for sure. :patsch
