What a good fight. Too bad for ESB's own Wilson, he showed he was a well rounded fighter in there, not just the one dimensional slugger many thought him to be.

Flores meanwhile is a great amateur fighter who beat his first top ten opponent in the pro ranks. This was his coming out party, he says he is ready for anyone at 200 lbs right now.

This fight was an IBF eliminator, and with Adamek vs Bell (the other IBF eliminator) still unsigned, it appears that Flores is next in line for USS Cunningham. That would be a very good fight! :bbb

The question is when will it happen, and will Cunningham elect to take one or more voluntaries in the meantime, as he just disposed of his mandatory Huck. Flores meanwhile should just stay active and sharp.

Cunningham would beat the **** out of Flores. That fight would be a waste of his time. The Haye/Maccarenelli winner vs. USS is what I want to see.

The fight you mentioned is undoubtedly the best out there right now, but Flores vs Cunningham would hardly be a "waste of time". In fact these would probably be the 2 most skilled Cruisers out there facing each other, both with enough power to make it very interesting. This fight will probably happen by mid-summer, if Cunningham fails to get the Haye/Macca winner in the ring.

Personally I think most of it won't matter once Johnathon Banks starts getting title shots...I just feel like he has all the tools to beat everyone in the cruiserweight division.

no way are flores and USS the "the 2 most skilled cruisers". i think that if USS wants to stay busy and take an up-and-comer with an undefeated record to beef up his resume then that makes sense. i only see a very easy day at the office for USS if that fight goes ahead.

i rate cunningham highly but i think haye is technically better then cunningham, whilst enzo is fast improving and is probably cunningham's equal in that department.

i think USS dispatching Bj with ease and then the winner of Bell/Adamek would set up another huge cruiserweight fight for late 2008 or early 2009.

i think the cruiser division is fast becoming one of the best divisions in boxing. what other division has this many unification fights happening this regularly?
