There's this heavyweight, Charles Martin, who's undefeated in 21 bouts and has an impressive 18 KO record but he's almost never mentioned for big fights or otherwise. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=631078&cat=boxer Looking at his record it's safe to say he's where Deontay Wilder was 2 years ago. Lucas Browne has a similar record and he will get a minor belt fight against Chagaev soon. Martin's a big guy, 6'5'' and a big puncher. [yt]UAucHqlSS2w[/yt] So what's ahead of him? Any thoughts?
He's among the best hopes for a homegrown American heavyweight (after Bryant Jennings of course)...but he needs more seasoning. Eddie Chambers was calling him out and Martin's team wisely passed on the opportunity.
Well he's 29 now and after 22 fights I think it's about time he starts escalating his level. I'd like to see him against someone like Cunningham or Arreola perhaps to see what he's capable of.
