WBO light middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk (36-0, 22 KOs) will resume his career in the USA. Sergiy says he is a free agent will sign with an American promoter. “I’ve solved all problems with my former German promoters and have broken off the contract. Now in America I’ll also work with a known promoter. Two days ago I met the CEO of Top Rank Bob Arum. I have carried out negotiations and will make a decision. But I can say for sure you can see me in the USA. I promise that I’ll show everyone what I’m capable of.”
He continued, “Owing to the cessation of work with the German promoters, I didn’t box for one year. I should have fought Paul Williams and James Kirkland, but [Universum Box-Promotion] couldn’t get me fights with them. Now I’ll fight with the best boxers at jr middleweight and everyone will learn that I’m the best boxer in the world.
“I met the president of the WBO and have agreed to fight the owner of the interim WBO light middleweight title Alfredo Angulo. The fight will take place in March 2010 in America. It’ll be good fight.

If he is any good at all then even with an 18 month layoff he should make easy work of Angulo who is slow as molasses

He doesn't need to knock Angulo out but if he is getting hit alot then it will raise questions.

He wouldn't knock Angulo out anyway since Angulo takes a good punch and Dzinziruk doesn't punch hard.

I believe if he is in shape and can shake the ring rust he will school Angulo.

    IF.

IF there wouldn't be a year and a half layoff there would't be no IFs.

    That's the problem.

Sounding like a Calzaghe - Lacy scenario...
