Undefeated light heavyweight Mickey Rourke is planning a return to the boxing ring early in 2017. It is expected the fight will take place in Russia. Rourke's last fight, his first fight in 20 years, was sullied by claims from his opponent that he was paid US$15,000 to lose. Rourke had an amateur record of 27-3, and his professional record stands at 6-0-2. Rourke is 64.
I did a thread years ago but I doubt it can be found now but I noted how Rouke was willing to go on the road in his boxing career and took fights abroad
Pertinent observation and no doubt you articulated it in a manner befitting. Rourke has fought in Japan, Spain, Germany, the US, and now he's off to Russia again.
Lol I just think beterbiev might actually punch he's head of he's shoulders like a rock em sock em robot. Would be fun
Thank you Boss. That is quite a compliment coming from an intellect such as yourself and gives an accurate account of Rourkes busy passport. I will have to try and find the thread but seem to recall it was something about how Rourke has been more willing to travel than some other fighters
