By accounts, Marciano's first win over Ted Lowry was more controversial than his first win over LaStarza. Some posters in Classic think Charles could have gotten the nod in their first fight, too. He beat everyone he faced at least once, but he had a couple of close calls.
Calzaghe won all his bouts convincingly. He outlanded Hopkins 2-1 and still got robbed on one scorecard. Joe always won the later rounds sealing his victories.
In the later rounds, yeah. But Charles had banked a lot of the rounds in the first half before Marciano surged.
Marciano was outboxed by that no name dude. Other than that, not really. Floyd beat Castillo and then beat him again. Usyk will have a big star on his record after that dive from a clean body blow.
Pirog had four world title fights all for the WBO middleweight belt,Valero had eight world title fights in two different divisions, five for the WBA Super featherweight belt and three for the WBC lightweight belt. A tragedy in both cases they never finished there careers .
John McDermott beat Fury. It was one of the worst decisions in a British ring. Clearly showed the corruption that makes up boxing.
Yeah pretty much this. Usyk is still fighting, but he literally dominates almost all of his fights. The only one close so far was Briedis, but he still won the fight clearly, so that's not dodgy. Anyone mentioning Dubois must be kidding, as there was nothing controversial in that fight. People should learn the rules of Boxing, and the rules should be respected.
