I like Toney simply because Fitz isn't employing loads of lateral movement. If you're not doing that you're asking to test the full on skill of James Toney, and you have to be a bit insane to want to do that.

    Toney.

Lights Out. Coming at or standing right in front of James is a disaster waiting to happen. Too skilled on the inside with blazing hand speed and ok power.

Standing in front of Fitzsimmons is a worse idea.

It's honestly difficult to even fathom.

Fitz would lead here. He'd shuffle into range and try to time Toneys upper body movement with a blow.

I think Fitz is a bullfighter and Jim Hall did spark him, so as Toney was a faster guy as well, I'll go for him to catch Fitz with his right hand and finish him with a combo of mean spirited shots.

    Very true.

Also very true. More reason to pick Toney.

I really rate Fitz, but it's too easy to pick him to smash anyone. Toney allows for more conceivable matchups, though I'm not sure he warrants inclusion in this tournament, his work at Light Heavy was dog rough.

That one was a dive I think.

Exactly why I picked Toney. Perhaps not fair, though. :think

I doubt Fitz hits him clean.

Toney wins a decision or stops him.

The gulf in defense and offense is too great.

Toney is really at a big stylistic advantage here. He's not gonna get much lateral movement from Bob and he's got too many moves on the inside, along with too good of a chin to not take this one IMO.
