Jeffries fought nothing like Dempsey ,against Sharkey ,he waited for Sharkey to come in and countered him,if they threw 20 punches each a round they did well ,Jack would be banging him the moment he was in range. .Dempsey would be all over Sharkey like fleas on a hound dog,he was faster ,more elusive, more durable ,and hit harder.

 

I can understand why some people think that Sharkey would put up a good fight, but I am a little baffled that some people have favoured him outright.

 

Totally different styles but to get my pick in with the minimum of fuss, Fitz hurt and dropped Sharkey early, Jack would wade in and blast him out.

 

I think Dempsey beats him early.

 

Dempsey was a sharper harder puncher than Jeffires I see a KO over the tough Sharkey, in over his head and his style not suitable to survive vs Jack
