Voted Holy although I could see a ko win by dempsey possibly the way cooper almost got him out of there but more than likely I see holyfield choose spots to bang and spots to move..just a better all around fighter in my opinion..Holy Ud

It's a great style type for Holyfield. He dealt well with aggression, even at CW against Qawi.

Dempsey by KO. Holy chooses to trade with the wrong man.

Holy isnt a heavyweight....in many ways dempsey would be the bigger man here. Dempsey has almost the exact same measurments at 185 as Holy did at 210. Even a 199 Holy would likely be the weaker man in the ring. of course he may well still win.

    but i go dempsey.

espically since any version of Holyfield at cruiserweight is not super experienced.

funny watching the footage..how similar the fights and fighters actually look. Holy a bit more on his toes, dempsey a bit more out of the crouch.

Dempsey by close points decision. His body punching and general experience makes the difference in this one, Holyfield fades late in the fight and Dempsey comes on strong.
Obviously a thrilling and gruelling fight throughout, an epic. Both guys go home looking like they've been through the wars.

Holyfield neutralised the superior Tyson past his prime, timing straighter punches and counter punching while backing the puncher up. He'd do the same here and knock Dempsey out late

I agree, & i have a strong feeling Dempsey would be easier than Qawi, due to big differences in workrate & offensive skills on film. It's pretty clear to me from video evidence that Qawi was more skillful, just look at his superior combination-punching in comparison to Dempsey. Plus Qawi has more elusive headmovement than the overrated basically mythical Dempsey.
