Its more a case of hopkins losing the fight rather than calzaghe winning it. Hopkins either wasnt allowed to throw more punches and do more damage or simply did not want to trade. Fact is calzaghe was getting leather on hopkins consistently. I also think the knockdown clouded alot of peoples judgement because after that point everytime calzaghe got caught he was scored as being hurt.

PBF over DLH is underated when considering the fight weights although mayweather should have thrown more punches and put a dent in hoya.
