What wins weren't world shattering occasions, but underappreciated by and large for a variety of reasons, and why?

I feel Hearn's wins over the up and coming, unbeaten James Shuler fits here. Sculer died shortly afterwards and left a lot of questions unanswered.

Also, Hearn's win over Virgil Hill, who I feel is underrated by some as well.

Julian Jackson's very late career win over Agostino Cardamone comes to mind as well. Basically a lite version of the Graham fight, with Jackson being outboxed until he connected with that single punch.

    Thoughts?

Hearns' win over Hill is rarely mentioned. That fight gave Hearns' a defeat over a legitimate light heavyweight. That victory was bigger than Leonard's win over Lalonde. I'm glad you mentioned this fight.

Yeah, especially since earlier that year, Sugar Ray Leonard lost badly to Terry Norris

Ray didn't lose to Terry Norris until around 1991. He beat Lalonde in the late
    80's.
