Everyone remembers round 10 of Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo 1 for good reason, but round 8 is a classic as well.

 

Holyfield vs Tyson in round 5 when Tyson finally started to fight him back instead of throwing the same old 1-2s. Then he landed that vicious body shot + uppercut combo. It looked he like almost tore Holyfield head of when he did it.

Norris-Waters round 2 won Round of the year for 1993 in The Ring, I think.

And McKinney-Ncita round 11 won KO of the year for 1992. Great round that one, though, particularly as Ncita had already hurt McKinney.

Yep, remember round 8 of Castillo-Corrales - would have been round of the year most years had it not been for round 10. Amazing stuff.

 

Sean O’Grady v Hilmer Kenty was a fantastic fight that tends to get overlooked when discussing the best fights from a year of classic fights, 1981. I remember round 11 being one for the ages.

There was a fight in Argentina about 8 years ago that featured 7 knockdowns in 2 rounds..For sure one of those rounds at least does not get a lot of attention!

Also , I will talk about two fights now and not a round but Limon-Bethelmy and Laciar-Nery are absolute wars no one these days even remembers.
