Looking back what title reigns do you feel don't get the credit you feel they deserved?

Max Baer has a short lived but prolific run at the top, until he broke his hand prior to the Braddock fight then it was all downhill from there

Wilfredo Vasquez's title tear once he accumulated some experience and settled in during the early 90's is underrated in my opinion.

Can't give him much credit for his reign as such, but his rise to the throne was pretty explosive.

After he demolished Schmeling and Carnera back to back, a lot of people thought that he would reign for a long time.

Michalczewski had one heck of a run for a ton of years. Chris Eubank sure doesn't get a lot of love. nor does Ottke or even Calzaghe. Cruiser JC Gomez is another guy.

I’d like to add Virgil Hill to your list.

Juan Diaz. Made 7 title defenses of his Lightweight title, unified the division and basically retired Freitas and took Cotto's bro's 0.

Old Bones. 12 defences of the undisputed lightweight title and not against the soft competition that is made out imo. Kenny Lane was a tremendous, highly skilled fighter, though hindered by being tight at the weight. Charnley and Rosi were both excellent fighters too, although Brown did have a tough time with both of them, especially the skilled mauling of Rosi until cuts halted things. Dupas was a lovely Pastranoesque stylist and the likes of Andrade, Busso, Lopez, Smith, Zulueta were all respected contenders.

He should've faced Ortiz sooner though and I think Loi was number one contender at various points throughout the decade if memory serves, though he did himself no favours by rarely travelling from Europe to fight.

It shows how deep lightweight is and maybe how underrated Brown is that you don't see him consistently in top ten lists at the weight.

Cuevas-was wrecking fighters left and right as 147 champion until Hearns came along but we rarely hear of his reign which I believe he made 10-11 successful defenses
