Lomachenko and Shiming are both in with Thais with padded records.

Lomachenko's is slightly more legit as he did give a fading Chris John a somewhat tough fight in pretty much his only step up in class ever.


The overall card is less than enticing, to say the least.

 

Do you think Lomachenko cherrypicked the Thai? I read he's fighting the No.1 or mandatory in his division? Anyways, I wished he could keep up his streak of fighting top class opp.

If this is just a stay-busy type of fight and he goes for Walters right away, no problems here.

 

Vargas vs Demarco is probably going to be the fight of the card for sure despite the fact Vargas will get a win no one thinks he deserves

 

Wouldnt put too much emphasis on his ranking according to the sanctioning body.
Hes maybe a top 50m fighter in his division.

Not every fight can be a super fight. Its a stay busy fight.
Theres plenty of good FW fights for next year.
