I'm very excited about seeing this undercard ... Juan Manuel Lopez v Daniel Ponce De Leon ... for Ponce De Leon's WBO super bantamweight championship strap.

I think that Lopez is going to win ... Ponce De Leon's style is tailor made for Lopez. A former Puerto Rican Olympian and currently undefeated fighter. 21-0 19 KO's -- a fellow southpaw ...

I'm anxious to see this robot get crushed --

Are you guys aware and what you do think about it?

Ponce de Leon seems to run so hot and cold that it's hard to say. The fighter that rushed and blew out Bautista is a formidable foe, but you don't see that every time. I imagine a lot of that has to do with the opponent and the young Pinoy was probably rushed and outclassed. Juanma Lopez, on the other hand, is a fighter who has been well matched and moved through the ranks by Top Rank.

Barring an odd punch, I think Lopez is able to outbox him over the course of 12 rounds. Who knows? Maybe Ponce de Leon's typical whirlwind punch output can influence the judges? He's so ineffective generally, though.

i've wanted to see ponce get beaten ever since the penalosa fight, so i hope you're right.

i see british prospect kevin mitchell has been added to the undercard. they'll show this on setanta in the uk but will it also get shown in the states?

I think Juanma is an outstanding prospect...but this MAY be too much too soon for him.

I think he'll eek out a close decision, which will be closer than it should be because of his inexperience.
