Did you mean a natural 112? Yeah he was a bit bigger. And that would probably factor into why I think he'd beat Lopez because as a flyweight Too Sharp could crack pretty hard.

I think Johnson would beat Arbachakov fairly comfortably because of his faster hands and his movement which will give Arbachakov some problems. Yuri won't be able to tag him often enough to win more than about 4 or 5 rounds which will mostly come in the second half of the bout.

 

Would like to have seen Ricardo Lopez move up to flyweight and take his 51-0-1 record and pit it against Too Sharp Johnson.

Might have been like when Zarate and his great record moved up against Gomez and found out they hit a lot harder 4 pounds north.

 

Might very well have turned out that way LH.

Would have loved to have seen Lopez campaign as a flyweight.

 

If McGirt could box like he did against Frankie Warren in the rematch or against Simon Brown on a consistent level he would have been a handful for many great junior welters and welterweights. He was a class operator at his best.

Injuries and inconsistency probably kept him from being a truly exceptional fighter.

 

Naseem Hamed is wrote off as none Elite now, which is rubbish, he completely dominated 10champions beating every belt holder in his division. In his prime he was the hardest hitting featherweight ever that at his best combined with a Pernell Whitaker reaction based defense and slick sharp punch and not being punched ability. His skills eroded after his rise to fame in the UK but he is the most exciting fighter of the 90s for me

I'd say this is underating his prime skills, in his later career he became a head hunter, earlier under Ingle he was a boxer puncher

Hamed is like Tyson in that he used a very scientific style created by the trainer that needed the trainer to understand and maintain the style. Also like Tyson he won too easily which made him stop trying

 

I don't see how you work this out. Nobodies talking about prime skills or lack of them, just power.

When people dismiss hamed as non elite, it just makes barrera look crappier legacy wise. Then it means MAB lost to 3 elites and only beat 1.

 

I`d give that distinction to "Little Red" Lopez personally.
