Underrated fighters..

    We are always fighting and arguing about how our favorite fighters are overrated or underrated. What about guys who are not our favorites nor seem to be the favorite or the most hated of any posters?

    I think the most underrated fighter on this board who has proven his dominance is Ivan Calderon. He has I dunno how many title defenses, and isn't even mentioned in most p4p discussions.

    Yeah, its sad, but most people dont care about those that weigh little. You can add people like Ulises Solis as well plus many more.

    Mayweather is very overrated, i say this cause hes very good, but people have definitely blown him into another stratosphere.

    Only the ones who have him rated top 10 P4P all time. The ones who think he isn't good at all vastly underrate him.

    But Mayweather is polarizing. We all have opinions of him. I am talking about the guys who most never notice. How does someone like Cotto (no offense to him) get mentioned on P4P lists and Calderon doesn't?

    Antonio Margarito,

    very few, myself included, have faith in Margo. Many of his haters here say he is the most overrated fighter today and almost no one gives him a chance with anybody. In lame terms that says that Margo is highly underrated. Poor Margo, one day he will get his break.

    Riddick Bowe.. head to head, I think this guy could've taken pretty much anybody.

    I like to think I follow boxing pretty well, I'm not an expert or anything. I've never seen Calderon fight...

    No, realists know that he is overrated because he does not have the skills needed to compete at an elite level.
