I'll try my best to answer this as quickly as possible. Of course, none of these men are forgotten, per se. If that were the case, they'd, to a sense, not exist and wouldn't even have a chance of being mentioned in this thread -- ikened to the Learning Paradox -- "You can't learn it, unless you already know it..." Rather, these men are underrated in the entire scheme of things for they deserve MORE discussion than they get. Or as you stated -- they may be "very well respected," but maybe that's just not enough.
Stick with trolling in the GF with the rest on the know nothings. as for the thread topic. Young Stribbling seems to be forgotten .
I got no alts just like you got no life(10.000 posts in four months WTF). Whitaker underrated Stick with the GF with the rest of the DSAB crew and stop embarrassing yourself here.:deal
:good When someone like Bernard Hopkins gets the respect that he does on here while Teddy Yarosz and Wee Wille Davies, whose records and accomplishments are far more impressive, are forgotten....well, let's just say that it makes a thread like this necessary. People need to be reminded sometimes, including myself :smoke
Dennis Andries Virgil Hill Cornelius Boza-Edwards( by casual fans) And to a lesser extent,Steve Robinson.
Ken Buchanan is sometimes dismissed as the guy Duran nailed in the balls for the title. How about Baby Arizimendi? Talented guy, did well in a deep era.
I've always really liked Buchanan! I've read an article from Portsmouth Times on that title-fight with Duran. Headline read: "Duran upsets Buchanan In Disputed Title Fight" Buchanan, rightfully so, campaigned for a rematch but unfortunately never got it. As for Arizmendi, he's one of my favorite boxers of all-time. I had already listed him in the thread-starting post. :good
He was genuinely brilliant and although serious fans appreciate him,he's horribly neglected by the wider public. atschShould've been obvious but great shout.:good
