Elvir Muriqi vs Sam Ahmad....those who saw it at the time on ESPN or those who saw it on youtube know what I'm talking about...this fight was an unbelievable back and forth affair with Muriqi being down 4 times and Ahamd 2 times.Muriqi ended up winning.....all this in 3 rounds!Check it out on youtube,it's worth it....Teddy Atlas was Muriqi's trainer at the time and was commentating in the same time.....entertainment all the way.Great fight.
Eubank v Watson II. Great fight but understandably overshadowed by the tragic outcome. Both men look like they put everything into it and the last couple of rounds are about as exciting as anything your ever likely to see. Eubanks viscous uppercut that completely turned the tide of the fight also sticks in my mind.
somsak sithchatchawal vs mahyar monshipour is THE MOST underated modern classic there is. ten times better than vasquez v gonzales
Carl 'The Cat' Thompson was the most regulaly exciting fighter in the world. See his fights with Eubank, Sellers and Rothman. All 3 classics that get overlooked due to it being an uninteresting division. Also a higher pofile fight that gets overlooked is DLH - Mosley 1, pure class from start to finish.
