    Jimmy Young was a tough, TOUGH son of a ***** through and through.

    He didn't even come close to knocking Young down. He layed into Young so hard his face was torn apart, with Young having one of the worst cuts you'll ever see in HW boxing.

    Same Cooney who broke Lyle's ribs in the first and nearly killed Ken Norton.

    The only other stoppage in Young's career was after a handful of fights against the hardest hitting heavyweight of all time in Earnie Shaver's.

    Young had a granite or thereabouts chin AND unbelievable defensive abilities. :happy

    evander holyfields power.. so many times he hit guys and the only thing keeping them up was the fact that he immediately hit them on the other side of their head.
    his body shot on bert cooper was a peach

    Holyfield started hitting FAR harder after a certain point when he turned into a very consistent steroid user.
