    I think a badly winded Hatton, hurling himself head-first at a turnbuckle, probably helped that one along.

    It was earlier than Hope got knocked out. The point is that Benitez may have had similar power, but didn’t really have more than Floyd (and Floyd probably had better pfp power at 130).

    I will throw Joe Calzaghe out there. For a guy who had hand issues, and earned the unofficial nickname of Calslappy, he had 10 stoppages in 24 title fights and Lacy’s team should have stopped that slaughter. He is never going to he remembered, and rightful so, as a power puncher. But he had enough volume and power that guys had to respect him in the ring.
