Understanding Jermaine Franklin: the least dangerous heavyweight in the top 30

    I'd rather see AJ just get Whyte out of the way in April because he's a much bigger name and higher ranked fighter than Franklin, so AJ gets back in the big leagues sooner rather than later.

    I don't think Franklin is a better opponent than Whyte because he has virtually zero chance. Whyte has a better chance to due his size, power (far superior to Franklin, with the left hook being a bad shot for AJ), experience and history with AJ (1-1, dropped AJ, both fights wars). And Whyte has shown more heart than Franklin ever has in the past, maybe he'd come to fight. Franklin has a better chance of losing on points and he's vastly less likely to get KO'd by the first uppercut that lands but that's all that can really be said in his favour, he's a more durable punching bag.
