if pac would just agree to floyds random drug testing, then we can all get on with the arguement over the purse split.

if pac was not too good in demolishing oscar, hatton and cotto, floyd sr. wouldn't have advised his son not to fight pacquiao and go with this A-side meth accusation. it's pacquiao fault after all.

I don't know about you, but I didn't take that Military A side meth grade or whatever SR. was ranting serious. It looked like just a joke, exagerating the whole thing back in the beginning of the first fight talks. I didn't think it was serious.

Floyd says, " if you won't play my way I'm taking my ball and go home."

Good luck brotha. Hope it works out that way. I couldn't imagine the feeling of being present for that fight. I can hardly imagine the feeling watching it.

More like floyd's (singular) demand than floyd's (plural) rules. Just like pac does with his catchweights. Two way street. If you got the clout to then do so. If thier is a difference it is that Pac's catchweights make for an advantage in some circumstances, while Floyd's demand does not gain an advantage. Still both moves are based on clout and position. I will fight you, agree to your ring size, gloves and pay 10mil for being overweight if you would agree to be fully OSDT tested.

So I don't think your statement is very accurate in explaining the Whole situation as floyd's rules or go home when it's only one demand that's holding the fight up. A demand that is understandable as long as floyd genuinely believes pac is on the juice.

Nice post. They both need to tie Arum up and throw him in a closet until the fight is made.

.... and then agree to have somebody from each team to come and check the other fighter at anytime, unannounced. (new demand) :verysad

It wasn't the right time back then, it seems like it's still not the right time.....but soon. Keep the faith. :good

It's boxing and when you have two fighters with the resume that these two have, neither want to give an inch and show any sign of weakness in negotiations. The truth is the longer we wait for the fight, the more hype it will get but as with anything in life you can't wait around for ever. Reading everything and listening to different sides of both parties since the serious negotiations started around a year ago, I find fault in both camps. People who support either fight can slate/slaughter the other, but everybody knows deep down that the two men are great fighters, regardless of whether they ever meet one on one in the ring.

I hope down the line the fight will be made, but I honestly feel like right now it's 50/50 whether it will ever happen. It be a crying shame, though if either fighter retired permantly without the fight ever happening. Lets hope common sense prevails at some stage.

Floyd cannot make demands, the state athletic commissions can. FLOYD First convinces the commissions on the validity of his allegations, with Sr. and Uncle Roger as his experts what sane member of a testing outfit would even bend down to their level. A side meth, it sounds like a joke to the layman, how much more to a PHD, MD, etc. As far as gloves go, Floyd can use his own, the one he likes, what's wrong with Reyes 8 oz gloves? It's standard weight for the weight division they're fighting in.

    - those words did not exactly came out of Pac's mouth.

If those words were not invented in the dictionary, we could have been discussing how Mayweather looks after being KOed!:lol::lol::lol::lol:
