Honestly, I think Golovkin is going to be the undisputed middleweight champion, no later than 2017. I do believe that is extremely admirable and deserves a ton of credit. This will make him top P4P and HOF in my book. And there's nothing you can do or say to discredit the man at this point.

For the sensitive GGG fans: I didn't make this thread to discredit Golovkin, I am a fan of his but, I have a genuine question.

Will he EVER move up in weight? After he is the undisputed middleweight champion, do you think he will then pursue the same goal at 168? Or will he pull a Hagler and continue his reign at middeweight? Bear in mind, the man is 34.

Note: This isn't to say he HAS to move up, but it'd be awesome.

After Canelo ducked the fight i'm hoping for Jacobs/Golovkin or Saunders/Golovkin now

I would prefere to see Golovkin staying @160 for another year

So its Jacobs and Saunders then to tie up the belts? Or am i missing somebody? Both have thrown Golovkins name out here and there recently but that may be cuz they were fully expecting the Canelo fight to happen.

I think he would take both belts in his next 2 fights if he could. Im not sure how much either BJS or Jacobs fancies themselves against GGG, they can see how dangerous he is.

And not as a GGG fan but as a Boxing fan i have been wishing for him to go to 168 for a while now. He cant get the big names in this division, they dont seem to willing but i am full on convinced if he did get a Jacobs, Saunders, Lee, Quillin he goes right through them like everybody else he has faced. I see no challenges for him at this weight.

Even he looks half bored in his fights, it seems all too easy, Everybody says there are not many big names, big money fights for him up there at Super Middle. But there surely on size alone some more challenging fights than here. He would be a small SuperMiddle.

  4. Yes being unified champ is a very hard feat if it was easy you would see it done many times

    No, just Saunders.

GGG is already the WBA super champion. Jacobs is just mandatory to GGG's belt.

Nah I doubt he'll move up, he might challenge a few SMW fighters before he retires but moving up to a division that's very weak is pointless IMO

Idk about HOF but if the fight doesn't come off and he manages to beat Saunders afterwards, that would be a great feather I think based off the 54-68 thing he's almost expected to at that point but only time will tell.

WBC, WBA,IBF....he is already undisputed champion. The WBC is still not recognize and they did not attend the meeting. The WBO is still a minority title belt.
