    LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT

    The chosen 8 Fighters

Floyd Mayweather Jnr - WBC, WBA Champion
    Carlos Molina - IBF Champion
    Demetrius Andrade - WBO Champion
    Canelo Alvarez - Mexican star
Miguel Cotto - Never to back down from a fight and large fanbase
Errol Spence - Top prospect. Replacing with Damian Jonak. Spence might someday be the #1 p4p, but he's being replaced by Damian Jonak who is the top conender for the IBF as well as #12 WBC, 7 WBA and 8 WBO. he edges out Brian Rose who is #1 WBO but not ratted by the other three.
    Sergey Rabchenko - Top prospect
Erislandy Lara - One of the most talented

    Fighters that have missed out

Austin Trout - lost to Canelo
Alfredo Angulo - lost to Canelo
    Anthony Mundine - Jobber
    James Kirkland - one words...Ishida

    Light Middleweight Quarter Finals

1 - Floyd Mayweather Jnr Vs Damian Jonak - for WBC, WBA titles

Mayweather in one of his easiest fights to date 120-108.

2 - Miguel Cotto Vs Carlos Molina - for IBF title

Cotto regains a light Middleweight championship 116-112.

3 - Demetrius Andrade Vs Canelo Alvarez - for WBO title

I think Demetrius Andrade is underrated. He's tall fights smart and has good power. I am going with the major upset here.

4 - Sergey Rabchenko Vs Erislandy Lara

I think we could see an upset here too, but I don't think we will Lara 116-112.

    Light Middleweight Semi Finals

1 - Floyd Mayweather Vs Miguel Cotto - for WBC, WBA, IBF titles
Can Cotto do any better than last time?
The answer to the question above is No. Mayweather 118-110

2 -Demetrius Andrade Vs Erislandy Lara - for WBO title

One of the divisions hottest matchups!
Not the matchup everyone was looking forward too.

Going into this fight Andrade who will be coming off a win over Canelo Alvarez will be full of confdiance. Lara who will have been pushed by Sergey Rabchenko will have questions to answer. Andrade contues his run with a 115-113 win over Lara

Light Middleweight Final - for Undisputed Title (WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF)

    Floyd Mayweather Vs Demetrius Andrade

    Has Floyd met his match?
The answer to the question above is Maybe. As of the time I'm writing this Mayweather's biggest risks among boxers who fight from 140-154 are Lara and Andrade at a full 154. However, I don't think anyone in any era is ever more prepared for a fight like Mayweather is. Even though he's going to be a little older I still think he finds a way 116-112.

Middleweight Champion Peter Quillin vs. Light Middleweight Champion Floyd Mayweather. A win here puts Mayweather at 49-0.
Every great boxer has a limit a weight class that is too big for them no matter how great they are. I think Mayweather toops out at 154. Rocky Marciano's record is safe. Quillin won't solve the puzzle he will just be too big for Mayweather. These kind of fights end badly for someone. Quillin wears Mayweather down in 10.

Great thread, it'd be great if something like this could be pulled off. Imagine what a year that would be!

Seems even like in this fantasy match-up Mayweather and Pacquaio won't be in the ring together

    WELTERWEIGHT

    The chosen 8 Fighters

    Tim Bradley - WBO Champion
    Shawn Porter - IBF Champion
    Marcos Maidana - WBA Champion
Juan Manuel Marquez - Knocked out Manny Pacquaio
Kell Brook - Mandatory for IBF
Keith Thurman - Mandatory for WBA
    Manny Pacquaio - living legend
Amir Khan - Never in a dull fight and one of the most talked about fighters

    Fighters that have missed out

Floyd Mayweather - Fighting at Light Middleweight and relinquishes WBC title
    Paulie Malignaggi - Gatekeeper
    Brandon Rios - Gatekeeper
    Luis Collazo - Gatekeeper
Robert Guerrero - lack of exposure
Devon Alexander - Boring and lost to Porter

    Welterweight Quarter Finals

1 - Manny Pacquaio Vs Tim Bradley - for WBO title

Rematch to occur for real in April

If Tim Bradley wears socks (see 24/7) he out boxes Manny Pacquaio while on his front foot. Bradley 116-112

2 - Keith Thurman Vs Juan Manuel Marquez - for WBC title

    What a mouthwatering prospect

I like Keith Thurman he's a smart boxer with real power. This is a big step up for him though. Juan Manuel Marquez may have emerged as the best ever from Mexico. Who would have thought that 5-10 years ago? I think Thurman puts an end to his run. Thurman in 7.

3 - Shawn Porter Vs Kell Brook - for IBF title

    Fight to occur in July

I haven't seen much of either Shawn Porter or Kell Brook. From what little I have seen of both. They each have bright futures, but I don't think either goes very far here. I'm going with Porter. He's the champion and the fight will likely take place in the US giving him the "home town" advantage.

4 - Amir Khan Vs Marcos Maidana - for WBA title

If the rematch is to be anything like the first fight, then in for a treat!

I think they have gone in diffrent drictions since they fought back in 2010. Marcos Maidana has gotten better and I think Amir Khan has peaked. This one won't be as compitive as their first bout. Maidana in 5.

    Welterweight Semi Finals

1 -Tim Bradley Vs Keith Thurman - for WBO, WBC titles

Boxers who lack fire power should take note of Timothy Bradley. I think his agresive aproch is better suited than trying to be a slick back foot boxer with no power. On the other hand boxers with power should take note of Keith Thurman. Stay back wait for your openings and break your oppoent down from the outside. If eveyy thing was even I'd pick Thurman. However, Bradley is a cut above and will earn a 116-112 decision. He may have to pick himself off the canvas to do it though.

2- Shawn Porter Vs Marcos Maidana - for IBF, WBA titles

Marcos Maidana contunes his run by beating the second young boxer from Ohio in three fights (four fights if the Mayweather fight still happens). 116-112

Welterweight Final - for Undisputed Title (WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF)

    Tim Bradley Vs Marcos Maidana

Bradley got here by beating Pacquiao and Thurman. Maidana got here by beating Kahn and Porter. Madidana is one of the most improved boxers in recent years and like Andre Ward nothing sticks out about Bradley. He's just one of those guys who dose everything well. I think Bradley will win 7 out of the 12 rounds, but I can also see Maidana scoring a knockdown or even two. Since I see Bradley winning more rounds and if they had a 3 round over time in the event of a draw. Bradley would win at least 2 of those rounds. I'm going to declare Timothy Bradley the champion.

    The chosen 8 Fighters

    Tim Bradley - WBO Champion
    Shawn Porter - IBF Champion
    Marcos Maidana - WBA Champion
Juan Manuel Marquez - Knocked out Manny Pacquaio
Kell Brook - Mandatory for IBF Replaced by Paulie Malignaggi who gets a shot at Porter first.
Keith Thurman - Mandatory for WBA
    Manny Pacquaio - living legend
Amir Khan - Never in a dull fight and one of the most talked about fighters. Replaced by Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather is the best at 147 and out of all the choices Khan is the weakest link.

    Fighters that have missed out

Floyd Mayweather - Fighting at Light Middleweight and relinquishes WBC title
    Paulie Malignaggi - Gatekeeper
    Brandon Rios - Gatekeeper
    Luis Collazo - Gatekeeper
Robert Guerrero - lack of exposure
Devon Alexander - Boring and lost to Porter

    Welterweight Quarter Finals

1 - Manny Pacquaio Vs Tim Bradley - for WBO title

Rematch to occur for real in April

    See my previous post.

2 - Keith Thurman Vs Juan Manuel Marquez - for WBC title

    What a mouthwatering prospect

    See my previous post.

3 - Shawn Porter Vs Paulie Malignaggi - for IBF title

    Fight to occur in April.

Paulie Malignaggi has done pretty good for himself lately beating some good vetrans and gave a good acount of himself against Adrian Broner. I think Like Broner Shawn Porter is going to be just a little bit better and take a close but clear decision

4 -Floyd Mayweather Vs Marcos Maidana - for WBA title

If anyone deserves to be here in May more than Marcos Maidana it's Timothy Bradley and that's it. I think against Mayweather you have to do what you do best if you are going to have any chance to win. The problem for Maidana and many possible Mayweather oppents being agresive is what he dose best. Not that he's one deminsoinal. Mayweather is going to have a guy he can counter and get out against. The thing he dose better than anyone else. Maidana has power and could catch Mayweather early, But even if he knocks him down. Mayweather will get up and contune another master class. 118-110.

    Welterweight Semi Finals

1 - Timothy Bradley Vs Keith Thurman - for WBO, WBA titles

    See my previous post.

2-Shawn Porter Vs Floyd Mayweather - for IBF, WBA, WBC titles
Talk about being pushed off a cliff to see if you can fly and into a pool full of sharks to see if you can swim. That's what is happening to Shawn Porter here. He got by Malignaggi he won't be compitive against Mayweather. Mayweather 120-108

Welterweight Final - for Undisputed Title (WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF)

    Timothy Bradley vs. Floyd Mayweather
Please put this on HBO. I want to see them do a Face Off. I want to see Mayweather's well deserved argarance contrasted with that chip on Bradley's shoulder. I expect to see vanes coming popping out of his forehead. I expect to see Mayweather probe Bradley for any mental weakness and Bradley to give Mayweather his death-stare.

Despite not having a lot behind his punches Bradley is one of the great come forward boxers in the sport. He belongs with the Durans, Armstrongs, Chavezs and even Pacquiaos in this regard. He also has decent boxing skills. He's in a real catch 22 here if he plays to his strength he plays in to Mayweather's hands. His boxing skills while verry good arn't enough to keep up with Mayweather. Unlike light middleweight where Mayweather may have to run a gantlut of bigger stronger oppoents. With the expection of a knockdown by Maidana he will have had a clear path to this point. If Mayweather starts off slow Bradley can take some early rounds, but Mayweather pulls away in the end 117-111.
