Not a boxing historian, so how many times has this been done before?

Usyk looked phenomenal, and I recall the rumours of Vlad getting tortured by Usyk in Sparring a couple of years back, so i can really see him making a huge impact.

Obviously the question marks come down to how he deals with the so called 'Super-Heavies' who have a fair old size advantage over him. As the only big guy I recall seeing him fight was Joyce, and Joyce hasn't looked to be at the same level as a Fury/Joshua.

As long as he deals with the size disadvantage well, I think Fury gives him the biggest challenge.....But will Fury ever return to the same levels?

He completely outboxes Wilder and makes him look like a novice.
He outworks Joshua, and I can't see Joshua handling his Workrate.
I can see the huge, rangey and awkward Fury giving him issues with the size advantage, but if Tyson doesnt return to his level shown against Wlad, it'd be a huge struggle.

I personally hope he initially goes down the Wilder route, as we need more exciting HW action in the US to revive the HW division over there.
    Then unify with Joshua.

Completely in awe of Usyk tonight.
P4P number 1 without any doubt.
I personally hope he does unify HW, allowing me witness some incredible history.

A terrific night if you're a fan of the sport who just wants to witness terrific fighters displaying their ridiculous talent.

HW about to get real tasty!

Only person to be undisputed CW and HW is Holyfield..

And we have to see if Usyk can take HW punches because I don’t think his power will be effective against most of the HWs

Neither was Fury's.... If you outbox your opponent for 7/12 rounds, you don't need KO power.

Usyk has the skill to dominate a guy like Wilder for 12.....
The workrate to outwork a guy like Joshua for 10/12.....

Usyk would be a real force stepping up.

But Fury is 6’6 and outweighs his opponent every fight.. He always taller and bigger than his opponent.. Usyk is 6’2 and will probably weight 220 at heavyweight.. I’m not saying he can’t beat the guys I’m just saying let’s see him fight some contending HWs before we talk about Joshua And Wilder.. He’s not a big puncher and we don’t know if he can take a HW punch..
Usyk vs Holyfield at CW is a 50-50 fight and I consider both guys #1 CWs of all time

I did state that an in shape Fury gives him huge problems...

But if plodder Ortiz can outbox and outwork Wilder....
And Parker can take Joshua 12 with little damage....

Usyk can give them huge problems.

Cmon man, stop ruining threads with your fanboy nonsense.

Joshua and Usyk are unrivalled in their resumes thus far.....
Dont ruin it with your bias.

Usyk will make Donkey look like a drunk gangling basketball player and AJ like a black Herman Munster with severe rheumatoid arthritis.

You missed the Briedis and Gassiev fights?

Gassiev has been built as a monster, like Kovalev was before Ward beat him....Usyk toyed with Gassiev.

And Briedis has incredible experience over his career, and was rated so highly by Klitschko and Steward that he was often Wlad's chosen sparring partner.

Undisputed CW champ but just a 'hypejob' apparently.

It doesn't appear that AJ fanboys have an issue with Usyk....
It looks more like the US folks are worried that another division is dominated by non-Americans.

He beats Wilder without a doubt.

As tall as Ortiz. Longer reach. More than enough power to knock him out. Much better skills. Much better stamina. Much better footwork and footspeed. He will capitalize on Wilder's mistakes.

And Wilder has more fights than the two put together, yet they have superior resumes....

    Point?

    Stop your fanboy stuff please.
