Will we ever see an undisputed cruiserweight again now that bridgerweight has caused the WBC to lower the limit?

I don't think many boxers care about Jeff Bridgesweight at all. Certainly when the other 3 big orgs, despite them being all about money, don't seem to jump on to that scamtrain with their own belt. Cruiser will be much more popular, certainly in Europe where the vast majority of top Cruisers come from. And then it's Heavy where the big bucks are, so maybe some use it as a step up for a shot at a real title, but I think most will just see it like it is, a gimmick and another WBC cashgrab.

Makabu, who's on quite a run at Cruiser atm. I don't like Bellew at all, but knocking him out in 3 (coming of the canvas) looks better every passing year.

Did they lower it? They initially planned to, but I have not heard that they have.

If Bridger works out, and it will, the other's will follow suit. We may all hate the weightless, but we watched Rivas against Rozicki, and will watch Rivas against Romanov. If Wilder, Gassiev or Hunter gets in, forgitaboutit!

He won title at 200 pounds right?

so if he is to defend title he needs to cut weight now to 190? If he refuses they upgrade him to bridger weight champ

Yes, and with changing the rules and goalposts, he might be able to sue them.
They can try to get away with that.
How can they upgrade him to Bridgerweight champion? They'd have to strip Rivas first, because he beat the fearsome Brian 'the brewski' Rozicki over 12 recently, to claim the first WBC 224 belt.
And if they hand him the first shot instead, he then has to beat a full-on heavyweight to regain a belt, which doesn't make any sense.

WBC made a mess, and it's going to be a doozy to fix things without going to court.

Cruiserweight should have always stayed at 190 pounds.
They should have made super-cruiser if they wanted a 200 pound division.

"Bridgerweight" makes no sense whatsoever, and even less sense if they are moving cruiser to 190 again!

Just checked wbc website Bridger is now from 200-225 pounds.

    so cruiser remains 175-200

Also Bridger champ is placed among franchise champs and not between cruiser and Heavy
