This... Garcia has always been known to have a decent dig - just because a guy doesn't KO everyone doesn't always mean they are feather fisted. Kendall Holt was a known puncher but he didn't have a huge KO record. Ottke is always top of my list when this gets mentioned.
Obviously Ottke/Mundine is the standard bearer of ko's by feather fisted guys but in terms of knockdowns, Paulie M dropped the stone chinned Lovemore N'dou which is a hell of an accomplishment. I don't believe N'dou had ever been down before that or even after that.
Najib Daho vs Pat Cowdell imo Daho had literally shown no signs of possessing any kind of power prior to this fight and retired with an 18% KO ratio
It's the truth!! absolutely NOBODY thought Garcia was anything more than a average puncher MAX ( and he isn't) and an average boxer overall , most were saying he was he was poor at the time hence why he was a 7/1 underdog!!!!!
Baldomir knocking out Gatti. Sure Gatti was shot but still, Baldomir had like a 20% KO ratio and that was mostly other sellers of feather dusters in Argentina.
El Pollo landed his best wing punch on Golovkin, that was a feather punch that did nothing..............
Nathon Smith knocking out Rick Boulter in their return bout at Hull's KC Sports Arena in May 2012. Unexpected three-round war with knockdowns traded like Panini stickers. Closest I'll ever get to seeing Hagler-Hearns live.
