    Rights to the body by Cruz. 1-2 up top, blocked. Burgos is using some herky-jerky rubber-band movement above the waist to make Cruz lunge and swat at air. Burgos defending well without even sapping much energy out of his legs, staying anchored and just swaying. Body shots by Burgos. Clinch. Burgos switches southpaw and throws a right hook. Back to orthodox. Cruz is walking forward with the jab. Burgos backs off. Clinch. Cruz working on the inside.

    Good defense by Burgos, but not much else.

    HARD rights by Burgos. He sticks his tongue out, grinning. Cruz is having vision troubles, his right eye swelling almost totally shut as he misses jabs and just slaps over the top with rights lunging in. Burgos circles left and his jab flies out as a deterrent. Cruz is failing to find a way in on Burgos, afraid of the jab and partially blind. Cruz tries to bend over to his left and hook at the body but is staying hung up on the clothesline too long and countered. HARD COUNTER LEFT HOOK BY BURGOS!!!
